Turn your meetings into daily sales motivation sessions that get your team ready to hit their numbers every day.
Grant Cardone, author, TV show host, and business commentator, writes in The Huffington Post that “all too often” your meetings that were meant to promote sales motivation instead “become boring lectures” with “repetitive messages that really have nothing to do with selling your products.”
Plan your meetings ahead of time to ensure your sales motivation message is received. They “should be delivered every day and provide the team with information that gives them hope and new solutions that will help them in increasing business,” Cardone says. In order to get the most out of your meetings, Cardone recommends that you use “high impact video” or other “visual content that sets the stage and grabs their full attention.” After that, “focus on ‘saving’ business that was worked over the last days or weeks” to “get them thinking how we as a team can piece a transaction together and get the day started on a fast track.” Lastly, be sure to “take a few minutes at every meeting to congratulate salespeople for any and all completed goals, closed deals, and successes,” as “praise reinforces positive behavior.”
