Unnecessary Reasons Employers Lose Good Employees

For the past few weeks I have been speaking with our portfolio management teams about retaining their key employees. Whether you are an expansion stage company or public, you need to look for signs and issues all of the time. I recently spoke to a smoking hot company that was looking for investors when I soon learned that the CTO was resigning…..the CEO was shocked and back peddled throughout the conversation.  It was uncomfortable and I could sense his disbelief. Look for the potential reasons before they happen!!
