I try to offer a lot of operational support and share ideas about the mechanics of a sales process, sales methodology, and building sales teams quite often.

I thought this Thanksgiving week I would share some things I am thankful for in my everyday work environment.

1. People–I work with some of the hardest working committed individuals I have ever seen. They are an intelligent group that is so highly motivated it is hard for an old man like me to keep up with them. I have an extensive career that has allowed me to interact with many people…but these are the best!!

2. Culture–Every day I see examples of people living our company’s aspirations…do you? I could stop any one of our firm members and they could rattle off our values immediately…can yours?

3. Portfolio Companies–I interact with our expansion stage portfolio management teams every day. I admire their diligence in a tough economy and their openness to be challenged by new approaches and ideas….We are true partners!!
