More SEO Tools that won’t cost you an arm and a leg

A few weeks ago, I discussed a bunch of new SEO/SEM tools that represented  the evolution of search marketing. I also mentioned a new change in Google search ranking algorithm that might require webmasters to optimize the site loading time. To continue in this vein, today we shall look at a couple of cool SEO resources for the young, expansion stage companies.

1. There is a great primer on SEO best practices process for startup companies on SagePoint Software’s blog. SagePoint Software is a early-stage startup with a great management team whose blogs offer a lot of insights for young technology companies.

2. ReadWriteWeb just ran a great article on effective SEO tools for the bootstrapped organizations. A number of free tools are mentioned besides the paid services which are really affordable as well.

3. For a slightly more advanced case study on how SEO should and should not be done, check out the article on Gourmet Gifts Baskets on SocialBootstrap.com. I like this case study in particular because it actually shows how SEO efforts are very closely linked to a good content marketing strategy.
