How Much Are B2B SaaS Companies Investing in Mobile?

February 5, 2015

In just the past three years, the growth in mobile business software applications has been tremendous. Recently, IBM and Cisco simultaneously announced collaborative email solutions that not only heavily optimize for, but also rely on the use of mobile. In doing so, the two tech giants essentially planted their stakes in the ground — they believe going mobile will be essential to keeping their businesses up-to-speed with the rapidly evolving work environment.

When releasing Verse, IBM SVP Bob Picciano suggested that, “Mobile technology is not just impacting our personal lives, it’s profoundly changing how we work.”

At OpenView, we couldn’t agree more. In fact, we argue that mobile apps are the next big wave in B2B SaaS. To get more insight level of investment SaaS companies are making into mobile, we surveyed over 60 companies and teamed up with Localytics, a Boston-based mobile analytics and marketing platform, to create an infographic highlighting some of the must interesting findings.
