Thank You for All Your Outreach to Boston! Here’s How You Can Help

April 16, 2013

I have personally been overwhelmed by the show of support for Boston over the last 24 hours. I have received many calls, texts, and emails from friends and family and am amazed and gratified by the show of support for the city from around the world. Everyone in Boston is sad and/or in shock today, and a lot of people are grappling with injuries and trauma, grieving for loved ones, and searching for answers. But I suspect that the city will recover stronger.
While we still don’t know the names of many of them, there were a lot of people very seriously impacted by the events of yesterday. They are suffering and will continue to suffer long after others in Boston recover. We are working to identify ways that we all can help the victims and their families and will let you know the opportunities if you have an interest in helping.
One such opportunity we are encouraging everyone to donate to is the Boston Marathon Fundraiser put together by TUGG (Technology Underwriting Greater Good) and the Boston technology community. Links to donate and learn more are located throughout our Partners, Labs, and Blog sites.
Boston Marathon Tragedy Fundraising: How You Can Help
The people of Boston really appreciate all of your support, so thank you for your outreach to Boston and please keep it coming. It is really comforting to people to know that other people care!
