Ever stop to wonder what the world would look like without entrepreneurs?
As this video from the Kauffman Foundation points out, that would mean missing out on three crucial things that drive our economy and our lives. First off, entrepreneurs “birth the new” — they push forward innovation and start companies that bring it to life. In doing so, they create jobs for people. In fact, research shows that, on average, new firms create roughly 3 million jobs a year. That accounts for nearly all of America’s net job creation. Finally, entrepreneurs create new net wealth. While founders and executives may make a personal fortune they also make every one of us richer, adding to the wealth of society.
