Tweet Level: For what it’s worth

November 30, 2009

I recently discovered a fun new tool called TweetLevel after reading Barbara French‘s blog. TweetLevel was created by Edelman, a PR firm based in the UK. Here’s what Edelman has to say:

[It’s a] great way to understand and quantify the varying importance of different people’s usage of Twitter
.
The tool ranks your Twitter handle on what you tweet, number of followers, engagement/retweets, credibility, in addition to other variables.

No, this tool probably won’t solve the problems your company’s management teams may be facing and it doesn’t offer any operational support.

But it does offer an interesting glimpse. Try playing around with TweetLevel to gauge your progress with your content marketing and influence marketing strategies. Compare your personal Twitter handle to your company’s. Monitor your score over time. Compare your TweetLevel score to your TwitterGrader courtesy of Hubspot.

Just have fun with it.
