Survey Shows Buyout Firms Outshining Venture Capital Firms

Buyout firms seem to be outpacing their venture capital colleagues in a trend exposed by recruiter Glocap Search’s recent survey.

The company’s study of roughly 145 buyout firms and venture capital companies showed that salaries at the former institutions increased by about 1 percent over the course of 2009, while the latter group’s salaries decreased by about 2 percent.
