I was walking through Boston with my wife over the weekend on one of the first warm and sunny days of Spring and we came across this guy making the music of a full band. My immediate thought was that he is just like an overloaded founder, having to do a lot of things well enough to make his music. Just like good founders, this guy was good enough to get some customers…

Our role as an expansion stage investor is to assist the founders to build out their teams to help them both bring in specialists and help the full band get into a great rhythm. So I now have a picture to point to when I am talking to overloaded founders!
