Positioning Your Company to Beat the Competition

October 3, 2011

In order to oust competitors from a market, a company must be able to deliver a product or service that others can’t.

Rich Chiarello, president and CEO of Above the Line, describes this as a Trump Suit. And when building a Trump Suit, says Chiarello in this short video, a company must identify a competitive advantage to be the basis of their Trump Suit and then move forward in cementing it.

One of the benefits of doing this is that a company can essentially create a barrier to entry for future competitors by prescribing to the Trump Suit idea. Not only will you be protected from current market battles, but future ones, too.
