Over 100 Content Marketing and Social Media Predictions for 2011

Junta42 and Joe Pulizzi have done it again, but this time it is bigger and better than ever. More than 100 industry experts and thought leaders contributed to Junta42/CMI’s Content Marketing and Social Media Predictions for 2011. The predictions deal with content development, customer engagement, and content marketing strategy in general. Joe sums up all of the predictions in the following one sentence, “2011 is the year that brands get serious about becoming media companies“.

I had the opportunity to contribute my thoughts on 2011. Here is a sample:
In 2011, brand marketers will be focused on improving customer engagement. It will be important for marketers to create written, audio, and video content so that customers can consume and engage on their terms.
