Now that the initial rush to Facebook Timeline is calming down, it’s a good time to step back and assess what’s working for brands and driving results.
According to Mashable’s Lauren Drell, a recent study found that fan growth after Timeline has “slowed slightly.” If you’re one of the companies experiencing a slowdown, or if you’re looking to engage with Facebook Timeline for the first time, Drell offers nine tips for expanding your fan base and catapulting your content to the next level.
Tip #1: Embrace images. Timeline is all about getting visual, so take the opportunity to show fans and customers what goes on behind the scenes and let them see the more human side of your brand, suggests Drell. More tips include paying attention to Facebook’s Insights analytics tool, highlighting your best posts, and dropping in your milestones.
