How We Help: OpenView Venture Partners’ Latest Case Study

At OpenView, we aim to provide our companies with operational support in various areas. Typically, I write about how we provide sales and marketing support to our companies, but in this post I’d like to shed some light on how we consult within other areas of a business.

Last week we released our latest case study that describes exactly how we help our portfolio companies reach their goals in the finance department.

The program identifies immediate next steps and activities that can help any expansion stage company achieve long term success and improvement. It was created by Cynthia Mignogna, our Finance principal and her team. It includes:

  • A hands-on 2 day workshop to explain the basics and lay the foundation for the rest of the program
  • A 12-18 month plan that specifies different objectives and projects
  • Check-ins and assessments for our companies to gauge their progress
