I generally write about my dealings with portfolio company management teams offering sales and marketing support, so I thought that I would share an article and my thoughts about my interactions in the investment process. I typically speak with companies looking for investors at least once a week. Sometimes these companies are in more of a startup phase than truly an expansion stage. The fact is they are not ready for venture capital and sometimes they get disappointed in valuations and constructive feedback.
