Georgia’s Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies Award

March 12, 2010

Over the past three years, I’ve had the unique privilege of serving on the Selection Committee for the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies Award. This committee includes long-standing entrepreneurs and investors in Atlanta including Don House, Sig Mosley, Dennis Zakas, Ron Dolinksy, Ed Croft, Ben Dyer, Stephen Fleming, Linnea Geiss, Knox Massey, Jeff Muir, Mark Samuels, Paul Stamatiou and most recent additions Dawn Patrick, Josh Silver, Jamie Bardin, Pete Reilly, Kelly Gay, Joan Herbig and Gordon Rogers.

Each year, TAG accepts over 100 applications from public and private technology companies (startup to expansion stage) throughout Georgia based on specific criteria including; degree of innovation, scope and financial impact of innovation, likelihood of success, and promotion of Georgia’s Innovative efforts nationally and internationally.

From the “Top 40”, the Selection Committee chooses the Top 10 Most Innovative technology companies, which will present to the Georgia Technology Summit’s 800+ attendees. The “Top 40” companies will participate in an exhibition at the Summit, expected to draw the State’s technology leaders and venture capital advisors.

The Georgia Technology Summit promises, once again, to set the standard for technology industry events as TAG brings together the largest gathering of C level executives, CEO, CTO, CIO, entrepreneurs, academia and more to celebrate the states global leadership in technology innovation. From the top 40 most innovative companies in Georgia to the introduction ceremonies of the newly selected member of the prestigious Technology Hall of Fame, world class speakers, ground breaking innovation presentation and TAG exclusive state technology industry report and more, much more.

Whether you are looking for investors or an early to expansion stage company, this is a must attend event.

I hope to see you there!
