No sales process is effective without fail.

Unfortunately, you’re going to encounter hurdles and obstacles in the real world. A pragmatic approach will get you down the path, but the science of the sale is what will ultimately get you the deal. Improving on your sales process requires looking at the rubric being used and making alterations as needed.

Professional sales people understand the concepts and requirements surrounding the sale. They recognize a prospect’s desires and safety mechanisms. However, an inexperienced salesperson is unfamiliar with the terrain and makes many mistakes, such as showing their hand too early. And they get shutdown by prospects more often than not.
